Matt and Tom are some of my favorite people. They met at the gym in Rockefeller Center and shortly thereafter began an incredible love story that has spanned from the Upper West Side to buying their forever home in the Hudson Valley with many trips over the pond to London to Manhattan and back. I’m in awe of the love that these two share for each other. They are beyond inspiring. And those that get to call these two friends or family are so lucky! Matt and Tom are two individuals who perfectly balance each other out in the ways that only soulmates can. Needless to say, their Hudson Valley Wedding at their private estate home was a dream.
They purchased their forever home before they were engaged. It’s been the backdrop for their engagement, marriage, and now their vow renewal. I’m sure there will be many more celebrations and milestones in the future that will unfold here. This 18th century home is stunning. It was the quintessential backdrop for their vow renewal wedding celebration as they welcomed all of their closest friends and family to watch them publicly promise themselves to each other for the rest of time.
Hudson Valley Wedding at Private Estate
The morning of their wedding, I captured various areas of their home since it was not only a part of their day, but their story as well. I even photographed a few special moments of them as they got ready and relaxed in one of their rooms. There they shared a private moment together before the events of the day. Afterwards, we headed outside and enjoyed the beauty of their property. Their house is tucked away on gorgeous land, filled with greenery, trees, and even a stream of water.
Matt and Tom fully leaned into the moment and each other as I documented them together before their outdoor ceremony. Each moment was so special to witness. As it came time for their ceremony, their loved ones filled in the seats and watched these two special people vow to love each other forever.
The Floral Design and Wedding Details
One of my favorite aspects from their day was the floral design, which was unreal. Sprig and Social truly knocked it out of the park. From the florals lining the aisle, to the row boat on the water and wooden wagon by the house overflowing with flowers, it was a visual masterpiece. The boat, however, was my favorite. The romantic setting paired with the array of flowers in various styles and colors was enchanting.
The tented reception featured stringed lights along the ceiling and beautiful chandeliers as a focal point. The poles holding the tent up were dressed with greenery making them look like well placed trees, adding to the natural setting surrounding the property. It was such a wonderful evening spent among friends and family.
Matt and Tom, being a part of your day meant so much to me. It was a beautiful day from beginning to end, and one that I will always remember. Congratulations!
