Riverside Yacht Club Wedding

Filed under:

Emilie and Oliver met through mutual friends at work and quickly became something more. It was their mutual love of sailing that made their connection deeper. After 4 years, on a hike to a waterfall in Palm Springs, Oliver proposed to Emilie to spend the rest of their lives together. Now, after the most gorgeous Riverside Yacht Club summer wedding, they are starting their lives together as husband and wife!

When it came to plan their wedding day, they knew they wanted their day near the water. Riverside Yacht Club was an easy choice, as it isn’t just a beautiful waterfront venue, but one that holds a lot of meaning already as Emilie’s parents got married there too! They continued the family tradition and tied the knot in the same spot. Being able to begin their own marriage in the same place felt incredibly meaningful and a beautiful way to honor the generations before them.

On the most perfect summer day, a gentle breeze drifted off the water, offering relief from the summer sun. Surrounded by 185 of their closest friends and family, Emilie and Oliver celebrated one of the purest loves I’ve ever had the privilege of witnessing. I don’t know if it could have been a better day.

Riverside Yacht Club Summer Wedding

Emilie looked stunning in a classic strapless wedding gown. She wore her hair down in loose waves, which was honestly perfect for the slight breeze coming off the water. The bridesmaids wore navy dresses and the adorable flower girls wore lighter blue dresses. A flower crown completed their look perfectly. I loved the blue dress colors, as it complemented the venue setting by the water beautifully.

Emotion was woven throughout the day, from the ceremony through the final moments of the reception. Emilie wiped away tears more than once, overcome with happiness. You could see in the way Emilie and Oliver looked at each other that they were over-the-moon happy. Witnessing their love and their wedding day was so special. Just watching them together made you smile. Some of my favorite moments from their Riverside Yacht Club wedding were their photos by the water. With the sun setting off in the distance and the tranquil waters behind them, it made for the most romantic photos.

As guests celebrated beneath the tent, it felt like the perfect ending to a truly beautiful day. Between the meaningful family connection to Riverside Yacht Club, the waterfront setting, and the incredible love shared between Emilie and Oliver, every part of the day felt intentional. It was such an honor to document their wedding.

Congrats, Emilie and Oliver! I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
