A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people
~ Annie Leibowitz
HIDDEN IN LIFE’S SHADOWS, YOU CAN FIND THE MOST BRILLIANT OF MOMENTS. THOSE ARE THE ONES I AM LOOKING FOR.
Finding the light as a photographer means turning the lens inward. In my previous career, I spent over a decade leaning into out-worldly moments. Traveling to new countries, observing how individuals interact with one another, and how cultures shape our day-to-day. I witnessed how we become intrinsically connected through behavior and moments passing by.
It was at this time where I began to capture events that weave the story of our lives.
Motherhood came into the frame next. After the birth of my eldest son, I saw the value of images as a legacy. The moments that remain unrepeated. I knew that my gift to my children, and to my clients, would be to provide them with keepsake moments to reminisce on, generation through generation.
Kim-Trang Photography was created to consistently offer documentary-style imagery that withstand the trends of time. Harmoniously balancing candid emotions with traditional mementos, remaining true to your story.
As a mother, the memories I cherish most are those with my children. They teach me to laugh at the unposed moments. To smile; just because. I find delight in blank spaces because my family brightens them. These are the times we value, what we want to reflect on. These are what I search to capture on your wedding day.

“Family: Where Life Begins and Love Never Ends”
Vision & Philosophy
Whether it’s flipping the pages in a weathered album 15, 30, or 50 years from now, my goal is to remind you of the joy and overwhelming love you felt on your day.
I don’t follow trends, I follow people. This means I allow each wedding to unfold in front of my lens so that your day is uniquely you. I will guide you throughout the day, but the story you tell is your own.
