There’s something about getting married at your childhood home that simply never goes out of style.
As someone who also got married at my childhood home, when Emily and John told me they wanted to do it on her property, I FULLY understood how important and sentimental this day would be for them both. A home that has been such a beautiful backdrop to her childhood and her life. Truth be told, when Emily first moved in when she was 5 years old and got a glimpse of the house, she cried…the not so happy tears. But through so much love and care, her parents have beautifully transformed this home (built in 1887 and the first home in town with a working telephone!), into a space that you immediately feel at ease when you walk through the doors.
For Emily and John’s day, there were so many personal touches that were incorporated throughout from her grandmother’s bud vases that held florals throughout the home, to John’s family’s convertible Cadillac, and even their wedding invitations were letter pressed in Emily’s Nana’s handwriting. They even got married at the exact spot that Emily’s parents got married right by the family gazebo in the back. Every decision made for Emily and John’s day was made with intention. And on Saturday, they surrounded themselves with 70 of their closest to promise forever to each other.
Congrats Emily and John! To be a witness to your day was a true gift! Thank you so much for inviting me to join in with your closest.

You know you’ve seen REAL love when it’s staring you back in the face. It’s in the way Matt looks at Allegra. It’s the way that Allegra cares for the ones she loves the most. The opportunity to get a glimpse into Matt and Allegra’s marriage this weekend was a true gift. It was a love that you read about in storybooks; the one that comes effortlessly. The one that you know early on in the relationship that this one is “different.” Because while I walk away from many weddings at the end of the night, there’s only a few memorable ones that you know you’re walking away from a marriage that will turn into a legacy.
Congrats Allegra and Matt! Thank you so much for inviting me to witness the most beautiful day. I can’t wait to work on the rest of your gallery!

Courtney and Dan have known each other for 11 years. Since high school! And if you know them both, you know it’s clear that Courtney made the first move because “she talks so I don’t have to.” The perfect balance.
With a love of horse racing, they knew they wanted to get married close to Saratoga Race Track. And on the most beautiful day that graced Saratoga, while Courtney was surrounded by all her girls as they got all dolled up, Dan and the guys hit the race track for exclusive access and some pretty epic photos before they all met up at Saratoga National Golf Course to celebrate with their loved ones. They heard speeches that carried all the guests through all the emotions, a dancefloor that was full most of the night, and espresso martinis that made sure everyone could keep up.
It was definitely a night to remember. Congrats Courtney and Dan!

As a couple getting married on the “21st of September” (a day made significant thanks to Earth, Wind and Fire), the song “September” will forever be Julie and Dan’s soundtrack to every anniversary forever. But really, what better way to commemorate the 21st of September with one of the greatest classics of all time! And celebrating with them this past weekend for their wedding day but also to throw the biggest birthday bash for Dan, was truly the best!
Their journey goes way back to the Hudson Valley when Julie and Dan were kids. Even if they didn’t initially meet until later on in life. Julie is from a charming small town nestled amid the picturesque Catskill Mountains between two renowned New York ski resorts, Windham and Hunter. Coincidentally, Dan's grandfather, Howard, once owned and spent his formative years in a quaint cabin in Windham, less than 10-minutes from the long-standing residence of generations of Julie's family. Howard, in his day, would bring Dan's mother, Chris, to Windham each summer to bask in the splendor of Upstate New York. Chris, in turn, passed on the tradition by introducing Dan to the enchanting slopes of Windham for his skiing adventures. During his childhood, Dan devoted weekends to honing his skiing on Windham's slopes as part of the freestyle team. Meanwhile, Julie spent her weekends skiing as well and during middle school, she would eagerly watch the freestyle team in action. In a serendipitous turn of events, Julie and Dan's paths converged in 2009. Their initial connection blossomed through mutual friends, facilitated by lively conversations on iChat and text messages. Fast forward a decade to 2019 when, months before the onset of the pandemic, Julie and Dan rekindled their connection and you could say the rest is history.
During their years together, Julie followed Dan to Charlottesville, VA so he could pursue his PhD at the University of Virginia. When it came to deciding where they wanted to get married, it was clear that they wanted to be nestled in the Hudson Valley. A place where their families and many generations before them had come to create so many lasting memories. So on the last day of summer, we cheered and toasted Julie and Dan on as they made it official.
Congrats to you both! I can’t wait for you to have your kids join the freestyle team… or at least watch them.

Manchester, VT || Wedding
Carolyn and Noah may have met through Hinge shortly after moving to Boston. But what really ensured their connection was ‘safe’ was learning that one of Carolyn’s best friends from Union College was in fact Noah’s best friend’s sister. They were surprised they never ran into each other before their Hinge date!
Carolyn and Noah’s connection was one that many close to them knew early on was going to be special. As a close friend of Noah’s from Hamilton College would send in the guys’ group text shortly after meeting Carolyn, ‘Noah’s gf, a delight!’ Because it’s true, the first moment that anyone meets Carolyn, you are immediately struck by how warm, kind, and all around fun she is.
On a warm October day, Noah proposed to Carolyn at the Pond Pavilion at The Equinox Resort (the same spot where they would have their first look this past Saturday). What Carolyn did not know was that Noah had their immediate families ready to surprise Carolyn once they got back to the resort. These two families are truly one of a kind. It’s not a surprise that Noah and Carolyn have become the incredible humans that they are; they’ve been rooted with such incredible families and friends that you only wish you could be enveloped into as well.
Congrats Noah and Carolyn!

Nicole and Josh, along with their four kids, officially became a family of 6 on Saturday. They may have met decades ago, but their initial meeting was purely set in friendship when Nicole was an intern at the same company that Josh worked at. But as they say, when something is meant to be, the universe will conspire to make it happen. When they reconnected, their connection was deeper then friendship and their love story is one that only makes the most sense with all their four kids blended together to make an incredible family of 6.
When it came time to pick a spot, they knew they wanted to make things official in Lake Placid; a place that is so special to them. A place that Nicole and her family used to visit when she was a child. They wanted a destination wedding where they could invite their closest friends and family to celebrate their union together. And on the most perfect summer day in the Adirondacks, they did just that.
Congrats Nicole and Josh!

Riverside Yacht Club || Wedding
Emilie and Oliver met through mutual friends at work and quickly became something more. Their love of each other’s height may have brought them together initially, but their mutual love of sailing made their connection deeper. After 4 years, on a hike to a waterfall in Palm Springs, Oliver proposed to Emilie to spend the rest of their lives together.
When it came to planning their wedding day, they knew they wanted the water close by. Riverside Yacht Club was where Emilie’s parents got married so in keeping with family tradition, they knew they wanted to tie the knot in the same spot that has proven to be good juju for a long and joyful marriage. On the most perfect summer day, with a slight breeze off the water to cool us down from the sun beams that made us glow; Emilie and Oliver and 185 of their closest friends and family celebrated one of the purest loves I’ve ever been able to witness. I don’t know if it could have been a better day.

Meadow Ridge on Hudson || Wedding
After a season like 2023, we expected rain on this final Saturday of October, but instead, we were gifted with the most perfect Fall day for Ari and Justin’s celebration. From perfectly golden leaves to crispy ones falling like a gentle snowfall from a gust of wind during the ceremony, as a relative would call it, the day felt “spiritual.” And I couldn’t agree more. When I first connected with them last November, they had a very clear vision on what their day would look like; natural, romantic, cozy, simple, classy and lots of candles. And having been a witness to this Saturday, it was exactly that.
Ari and Justin met years ago in Miami when Ari attended school there and Justin was just visiting from Northwestern. In fact, she wrote about Justin in her diary freshman year. But as life would have it, they never kept in touch after that fateful weekend and they would continue on with their lives. But it’s funny how the universe conspires together when something is meant to be and in February 2020, they would randomly bump into each other in a bar in NYC and even though the pandemic hit right after, they’ve never been apart since.
Ari and Justin’s love story is one that only the greats could have written about. One that started YEARS ago with a meet cute that would seem to just be that; something that would never go beyond that weekend. But as their lives have intertwined the last few years, they’ve gone through some of the best of times and the lowest, and after getting to know them, the way Justin lifts up Ari with just a simple glance or simple gesture is one that would melt anyone’s heart.
Congrats Ari and Justin! Thank you so much for inviting me to capture the magic of YOU!

Erik and Belissa began a quintessential high school love story in what seems like the perfect scene of your favorite teen rom com; a run-in in the hallways between a Junior and a Senior and that was it. Never again would they be apart. They’ve seen each other through college, law school and many EDM festivals. What I like to call a well balanced relationship.
While Erik and Belissa may live in sunny Miami, they chose to get married in the Northeast because of how much they love Fall and the beautiful colors that transform New York. When I first talked to Belissa earlier this year, she had told me that one of her favorite places to visit was Washington State and in fact that’s where Erik proposed. It seemed fitting that on their actual wedding day, they were given weather just like what they would find in the Pacific Northwest, a bit rainy and misty, but with the perfect addition of beautiful fall colors that embraced them on their wedding day.
Congrats Belissa and Erik! Absolutely honored to have celebrated with you and your families! Here are a few sneak peeks. I can’t wait to dive into the rest!

Saratoga Springs || Wedding
Through the years, I’ve noticed that there are certain days, right when I start, where I know I’m about to share a day with a couple that has a love that is elevated above others I’ve seen. It’s an intangible, indescribable feeling I know right when I walk in the door. And it could not have been more true with Bill and Bradley this past weekend. It’s not just in the way that they love on each other, but it’s in the way they love on their families. I was brought to tears multiple times not because of what was being said, but simply by watching how they are with each other. Their tenderness, kindness, and consideration for each other is something you would see in the movies. It’s a storybook romance. One that started with Bill crashing a family dinner when Brad was visiting NYC from the west coast. In the early days of dating, they didn’t even have in person dates in the cities where they lived, Bradley in Sacramento and Bill was living in Saratoga Springs. They always had dates in different cities, sometimes even countries! But with each jetsetting date, their love grew and before they knew it, Bill moved west.
When it came to picking a spot to bring all their friends and family, they knew they wanted a destination wedding in Saratoga. They got ready in the most beautifully restored home just off of Congress Park and while we may have had some rain, we also got beautiful autumn leaves and the rain stopped right after the ceremony. It truly was the perfect day with Bill and Brad’s family and friends.
I can’t wait to dive into the rest of their day, but for now wanted to share a few sneak peeks.
Congrats Bill and Brad! Enjoy your honeymoon in Paris!

Catherine and Rory met at a beach party in the Rockaways in 2020 when things just started to lift a bit during the pandemic. But they got pretty serious pretty quick and Rory would start bringing Cat up to a special place for him and his family at Windham Mountain. From childhood memories of picking on his younger brother to now, Rory and Cat invited 240 of their closest friends and family to the most important day of their lives in the most special place.

Kathryn and John may have gone to the same high school in Saratoga, but it wasn’t until a chance meeting through a mutual friend when they would officially meet. When the pandemic started, Kathryn moved back from NYC to be closer to family in 2020. And after a chance meeting through a mutual friend, her and John’s worlds would finally collide.
Kathryn had always mentioned to John that she wanted to be dressed up when he proposed so he tricked her into thinking they were having people over before the big Travers race in Saratoga. He took her by complete surprise and proposed at their apartment right before celebrating with close friends and family on Travers weekend and you could say the rest is history.
We celebrated this past Friday in the most iconic Saratoga way, and joined Kathryn and John’s closest family and friends at the Hall of Springs. While rain my have been in the forecast, the day still went off without a hitch. These two shared private vows and promised forever, made their vendor team cry multiple times over in the best way. I can’t wait to work on the rest of this day but for now, here are a few sneak peeks.

Bourne Mansion || Wedding
In 2018, Ali may have signed off dating but a DM from Adam derailed her plans. She was reluctant to meet him, but their first date proved to be their last first date. And their last first kiss happened to be in one of the “most romantic” spots in the city, the Delancey/Essex subway platform. It’s been almost 5 years since that moment and it came to a culmination this past weekend on the shores of Long Island at the Bourne Mansion.
Most couples hope for beautiful blue skies and perfect weather. So usually the weeks leading up to a wedding day, everyone is usually focused on keeping an eye out for rain. However, the unexpected guest the week of the wedding happened to be smoke from the wildfires up north. But as if it was meant to be, the smoke cleared on the morning of their wedding day to welcome in the blue skies we’ve all been dreaming of.
With a slight breeze that came off the ocean to embrace these two as they promised forever to each other, it was the most picture perfect day for this family of three to make it official.

Morgan and Harrison met at Disney World when Harrison was spending his Spring Break and Morgan was working there. While he may have wanted to go to a different park, he ended up at Animal Kingdom and ended up finding Morgan. After 5 months of daily phone calls, they finally had their first date in Cooperstown at the Baseball Hall of Fame and you could say the rest is history.
Morgan and Harrison got married at the iconic Sagamore Resort in Lake George this past Friday. And while the weather kept us on our toes all day, having our all star vendor team flip flop between a rain plan and our non rain plan, in the end these two got married exactly how they envisioned by the water under a beautiful sky made for storybooks.

Grace and Bryan may have grown up close to each other but it wasn’t until they officially met at a St. Patrick’s Day party on the Upper West Side that they started dating. Five years later, they made it official at a place that is near and dear to their hearts.
The Hartwood Club is a place that Grace has been going to with her family since she was two weeks old. Growing up and living in New York City, this place was an escape from the hustle and bustle. It was a place where they could be disconnected in a way that allowed them to be fully present within 6,800 acres of an exclusive nature preserve. It’s an INCREDIBLY special place.
Grace knew that she wanted to get married here. The Hartwood only hosts one or two weddings a year for those that are rooted within their membership. The intimate community that rallied around Grace and Bryan to host and throw a celebration of a lifetime was one amongst those looked upon as family. And while the day gifted us with perfect weather for an end of October wedding, it was very clear how much this day meant for them to share it with their loved ones. Bryan’s dad was walking around snapping photos with his phone. I don’t think I saw him put it down once and I know it’s because he wants to relive it for many years to come. And I caught Grace’s dad at the end of my night, off in the distance in a field looking back at the barn tucked away under a clear star studded sky, with the music from the band playing in the distance. These were moments that these two incredibly proud fathers were relishing this day for their kids; a day full of memories that will last a lifetime.
I am so honored I could be there to witness such a day for these two at such a meaningful place. Looking forward to diving into more from this wedding. But for now, I wanted to share a few sneak peeks.

Lauren and Max’s love story dates all the way back to sophomore year in high school. They can’t quite remember the exact moment they met but they did swap phone numbers during Max’s JV lacrosse season when Lauren would occasionally help book keep for the team that season. For 4 more years they would date, attend prom and start college together. But with all good love stories, there needs to be a bump in the road that tests true love, and in their sophomore year of college, they broke up.
For the next 5 years they graduated college, started new jobs and since they share the same birthday, would wish each other happy birthday for MOST years. But fate would have it that they would conveniently be single when they attended their mutual friends’ wedding in 2019. And by November of that year they were officially back together and this time around, they knew deep down that they were “the one” for each other.
I have gotten to know Lauren and Max over the last year+. They are INCREDIBLE people who are always putting their friends and family before them and while I knew that already, I saw it first hand on Saturday. It was pure joy to watch them with their guests but I’m so glad I get to call them friends too.
Congrats Lauren and Max! I can’t wait to dive into the rest of your day but until then, here’s a few to hold you over!

As we were loading up into the car to drive up the hill for their golden hour photos, I asked Lauren and Max, “How adventurous are we feeling right now?” and they both enthusiastically said, “VERY!” And as I’ve gotten to know them, I knew if anyone was going to be up for an out of the box wedding shot, it would be these two. So we got down to it. And I’m so glad they trusted me to just go with my gut on some pretty iconic images. This FEELS like Lauren and Max.

A colleague of mine once told me that we always know the script of a wedding but we don’t know what will actually happen on the day of, and when emotions are layered in, it can really change an environment. I had spent all morning with Ariana getting ready so I knew what she looked like and had gotten to know her immediate family well! But there was a moment at the back of the church where she was surrounded by all the important women in her life that made me get really emotional; this monumental moment for Ariana before I would see her again on the other side. I’ve seen this moment so many times with couples, this exact moment right before they walk down the aisle, a walk that with love and support, will only happen once. But something hit different on Sunday and I kind of lost it.
Ariana and Vincent met at the Culinary Institute and as their careers would dictate, they’re very good at what they do; Ariana was once a baker at Levain Bakery while Vincent is a chef at Momofuku in the city. As New Yorkers, they love the city, in fact Vincent proposed to Ariana in Central Park in her favorite spot, the Trefoil Arch, a spot I know very well as I used to walk by it every weekend. As quintessential NY as their lives are, they wanted to get married close to family and made it back to Ariana’s hometown to really celebrate with all their loved ones.
Congrats to Ariana and Vincent! So grateful to you both for giving me the opportunity to share such an important day in your lives.

This was a wedding that many of us have been waiting for quite some time. Alison and Patrick’s family more than myself to be honest. In fact, it goes back generations. Truly! I’m not sure if me telling this story will even do the story itself justice, but I’m going to try! Because it’s a story that simply cannot be contained to those who know these two.
Alison and Patrick’s grandmothers were close friends who lived down the street from each other on Staten Island. Pearl and Elaine had kids similar in age who were each other’s ‘first besties’ (as Alison’s Dad would refer to them), Steven and Elisabeth. As Steven and Elisabeth grew up, they started families separately but remained friends and at one point actually introduced these two when they were maybe 6 years old! There’s a photo to prove that. A really adorable one in fact. But it wasn’t until about 11 years later that Alison and Patrick would see each other again at Alison’s high school graduation party. Patrick was a bit hesitant to go to “his mom’s friend’s daughter’s graduation party” but heard there was a pool and that was all he needed to know.
After the party, Patrick announced to his Mom “I’m going to marry that girl someday.” Alison would also ask who the cute guy was. And every year Alison’s family’s Christmas card appeared in the mail, Patrick would continue to say how he would marry Alison one day but they actually wouldn’t see each other again for another 5 years. When Pat had his own college graduation party, Alison’s dad, Steven showed up without Alison and to say Patrick was disappointed is an understatement. Steven returned from the party and Alison GRILLED him with questions at which point, the parents stepped out of the way and let Alison and Pat take their relationship from there and the rest of is history.
I’ve personally grown to love these two in the short time period that I’ve known them. I was really looking forward to their original wedding date in April this year when an unexpected event forced a change in their date last minute. Alison and Pat’s family and friends came in FULL force this past weekend to celebrate them for all that they deserve and more. So much more! These two are good souls apart but also so much so together. The journey to this past weekend may have been a bit bumpier than expected, but it was so worth the wait. Because when soulmates meet when they’re 6, and then again at a pool party at the end of high school and their hearts are simply drawn together in a way that’s inexplicable, time is not a factor.
Congrats Alison and Patrick! To say I am HONORED to be there to capture this day for you and your families simply does not justify how I truly feel. I’m humbled to be a very small piece to such an incredible chapter in this love story of yours. I can’t wait to turn the page to see how it continues.

Jill and Mike met on their first day of work in Boston. They might have had an underground secret work relationship that they were hiding for awhile, but everyone probably already knew about it, even before they did. Isn’t that how all work relationships begin?
But clearly it was all worth it as their friends and family united into one on the shores of Lake George this past Saturday at The Sagamore Resort. The most perfect summer weather day that I have seen yet this season with a slight breeze coming in from over the water to gently greet their guests who traveled for their destination wedding.
Watching Jill and Mike have their first dance, I could see it in their parents’ eyes; this life moment was fast forwarded…too fast. And as their eyes welled up with tears, I can only imagine what they were thinking; how fast their children have grown. From Jill singing in the car with her mom, or throwing footballs in her living room with her dad, in a blink, THIS moment has come too soon. But oh gosh, how proud they were. Mike’s dad could not have towered enough over all the guests with his phone to ensure he captured Mike’s dance with his mom.
Congrats Jill and Mike! Thank you for inviting me to have a front row seat to one of the most important days of your life!
