William Vale & Brooklyn Winery, NYC || Microwedding
In a year where it felt like everything stopped, time and time again love prevailed. And Audrey and Chris’s story was no different. These two met at work and while a romance didn’t start right away, after a year and a half of friendship and healthy competition to get ahead at work, they decided to explore a bit more of their relationship. 30 countries later and many bottomless brunches, Chris made things official right before their annual Cinco de Mayo party at their home.
They had gotten married prior to their celebration at the Brooklyn Winery in November. They wanted to celebrate with their friends and family, however many they could have. But in a year like no other, they kept everyone’s health and safety at the forefront of their celebration. All 40 guests were COVID tested before hand, temperature checked at the door, all wore masks while walking around, had assigned seating, and no guest dancing.
2020 was not an easy year to get married in, but it was definitely memorable and Audrey and Chris was such a joy to work with! They were flexible, realistic, and always made sure that not only their guests were comfortable, but all those that worked their day as well. I’m SO grateful for these two!
Audrey and Chris, THANK YOU for loving each other and allowing me to get a small glimpse into the love that you share. To many years of wedded bliss! xo
