There’s nothing quite as exciting as the moment your photos come in from your photographer. Whether they’re your latest family session, your engagement portraits, or your beautiful wedding day, they’re meant to be shared. And, if you’re like me, you head right over to social media and begin sharing away! It’s WONDERFUL and as a photographer, there’s nothing that means more to me than seeing you sharing and loving your images. Truly! But, as a small business who depends greatly on word of mouth, there’s something I’d love to encourage you to do… credit your vendors and share a testimonial!
Those two little things can go a long way for your photographer and other vendors involved in your session or wedding day. When you share images with your friends and family, it’s beyond helpful if you tag your photographer’s business page; Instagram, Facebook, or link to their website! By doing so, others know who they can contact for a session or event of their own, which helps us grow our little business. This little action is SO powerful – especially now during the pandemic more than ever before! By sharing credits, you’re helping show just WHO is behind the images and days you like so much. This allows future clients to find us and know we can help them, too!
And, if you’d like to help your favorite photographer(Hi!) or really, any small business out with one more easy action; share a testimonial. These can be shared along with your images, on our business pages; Google, the Knot, Wedding Wire or other applicable sites. Leaving a review is a quick way to support businesses you love – without spending a time, or too much time. You can leave reviews for me here.
