Emily and Jordan have such a special place in my heart for so many different reasons. But one of MANY reasons why I love these two, Emily who is a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher, would send me activities and ideas to do with my older boys last year when school went remote and I was scrambling to keep my kids engaged. She wasn’t just busy with the parents of her students but was thoughtful enough to send me things that she would be sending to them. Her love for teaching young children is OBVIOUS. The way Emily cares for the people in her life is so incredibly palpable, you can feel it when you walk in the room. And the way Jordan looks at her and loves her is the stuff rom coms are made of. There were so many times I would look over at Jordan and I could see him look towards Emily in awe of her.
When the pandemic first hit last year, and before we all knew what it truly meant, we had hopes that their June 27 wedding date last year would be untouched. And it did! They got married standing in the exact same spot that they did last year for their vow renewal at the Appel Inn this weekend to celebrate their one year anniversary. But this time, surrounded by their family and friends on probably one of the hottest days this summer.
Emily, Jordan, you did it! Love you both and cannot wait to work on the rest for you!
