I’m such a sucker for an awesome engagement session and this one did NOT disappoint.
You would hope when planning anything that weather is pretty close to perfection. You would also think that the end of April would not bring below 50 degree temps on any given day. Welp, when the day came for Mike and Lindsey’s day for their engagement session, it was FREEZING!!! And while they did a great job masking how cold they really were during this session, I was on the other end of the camera with a WINTER coat on. The things we all do for LOVE. <3
We trekked through Fort Tryon Park in Upper Manhattan. This is such a hidden gem and if you’re willing to make the trek uptown on the A train, (it’s about a 30 minute ride from Columbus Circle. Seriously! Not that far!) you’ll be able to hit up The Cloisters in Fort Tryon Park. GORGEOUS!! Hit it up on a warm day, explore upper Manhattan and you’ll be amazed how much land on the island is still untouched.
But back to Mike and Lindsey…They met after college and immediately jumped into a long distance relationship. Having been in one myself before getting married, I know they’re not easy, but so worth it in the long run. This past February, Mike set up a special surprise for Lindsey and when she came home, there were cupcakes that had spelled out “Will you marry me?” on them. SO FREAKING CUTE! They’re date is set for next Summer 2019. I can’t wait for their big day!
