I am SO excited for Melissa and Dan because in less than two weeks they will be making it official at the Brooklyn Winery and I had a chance to capture them for their engagement session at the end of September at Brooklyn Bride Park.
With the weather these days, you never really can predict whether it will be 40 degrees or 80 degrees on any given day this Fall. Including in September! We started that week in the city with what I can only remember as the start of winter and by the time we got to the day of Melissa and Dan’s engagement, we lucked out with GORGEOUS warm weather. Which also meant dodging TONS of tourists at sunset. But we made it work and were able to capture them in an incredibly iconic spot.

Melissa has this ability to live in the moment and see the world as full of beauty and wonderment, which is an incredibly inspiring quality.
I love Dan because he’s the best person I know. No matter what, he always strives to do the right thing or see the best in a person, which makes me work to be a better person in return.
