Troy, NY | Wedding

Evan and Sai first met during RPI freshmen orientation in the fall of 2010. Not long after, Sai decided to join their Taekwondo team and as they told me, “their fate was forever sealed!”. A few years later, Evan followed Sai to New York City and they finally had their first date. It was an evening of friendship, craft beers, and karaoke, ending with a kiss. By then, they knew that they were meant for each other. Not long after, they were headed to a picnic (or so Sai thought) when Evan asked to take a picture with Sai. He dropped to one knee and proposed. She cried – and he put the ring on the wrong finger, but now, these two are married after a beautiful winter Revolution Hall wedding day!

We wound up with a “warm” day in Central New York (ha, ha) for Sai and Evan’s gorgeous wedding at Revolution Hall. I’m so grateful that Sai and Evan were down for wedding portraits through the city! With her fur wrap and his blue suit, they looked absolutely wonderful as we walked around and enjoyed the sites nearby. I just LOVE how in love these two are! That’s something I noticed from the first time we talked. I also really appreciate how great Sai and Evan are at rolling with the punches. Even on the first consultation call I had with them, one of my kids decided to interrupt, and they were so gracious about it! I saw the same joy and understanding on their wedding day. They’re seriously some of the sweetest people I know!!!

Sai and Evan planned a truly beautiful day, filled with fun touches like caricatures on their favor boxes and a polaroid guest book. Revolution Hall provided a chic yet romantic spot for their New York wedding day and I was so honored to be a part of it all. Congratulations again, Sai and Evan! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!!
