When Tara told me that she was hosting her wedding at a place that was her family’s escape from the city up in the Catskills Mountains, I knew it was kismet. Having hosted my own wedding at my parents’ home nine years ago, I knew the significance of having such a special day shared with the ones you love most at a place that has such a significant part of your heart. I got a chance to visit their place a few months ago for their engagement session.
Five days before the wedding, Tara and I both looked at the forecast which called for rain everyday for the next 10 days EXCEPT Saturday. We sent out positive vibes to ensure the weather stayed that way and sure enough we had the most GLORIOUS day; sunshine with clear skies. I’m sure we had a bit of help from those that are no longer with us.
