Hudson Valley, NY || Microwedding
About this time last year, Sarah and Greg reached out to me to see what my thoughts were about Covid-19. They were my first couple to do so. At the time, we had only heard of cases overseas and a handful in California. Within days, the world flipped on us and sure enough, their May wedding at Basilica Hudson had to get bumped.
After multiple date changes for their large celebration, they knew in their hearts that they did not want to move their actual marriage any further. So on October 3rd, 2021, they gathered their closest friends and family together on the shores of their family’s property on Williams Lake in the Hudson Valley.
Truly excited to be celebrating with them again this year! xo
Our microwedding was short on guests but so, so full of love. It meant so much that our family and friends came together, despite the circumstances, to celebrate us. It was a truly amazing start to our lives together and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone later this year!
It wasn't what we planned, but looking back I can't imagine not getting married at the lake. Who wouldn't want to marry their best friend at such a meaningful place!? And now whenever we go to my family cabin we are able to spend time right where we kicked off this new chapter together!
Huge thanks to my associate, Jennifer, for capturing this intimate ceremony with the most incredible vendors below:
